We are proud to announce our new award of the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) 20000 IT service management (ITSM).
Southampton, February 2020: Nine23 are proud to announce that we have achieved ISO/IEC 20000 – 1 – IT Service management (ITSM). ISO/IEC 20000-1 is an international IT standard that allows companies to demonstrate excellence and best practices in IT service management. To certify, Nine23’s compliance was validated by external auditor – Intertek (UKAS accredited third-party registrar). Certification focused on the quality of services and client/customer relationships and Nine23 had to demonstrate how they achieve goals that show continuous improvement in delivery of IT services. This certificate sits alongside Nine23s ISO 9001:2015 certification that has been held for the past 5 years and ISO 207001 which was achieved last year. Nine23 has met rigorous international standards to ensure the security and integrity of both the business and Nine23 FLEX platform.
Julie Gordon, Operations Manager of Nine23 commented:
“Gaining ISO 20000-1 demonstrates that Nine23 have the practices, procedures and management system controls in place to ensure services are provided effectively with customer satisfaction at our core. Continual service improvement is a key element, which drives highly effective and efficient management of IT services and promotes a culture of proactive service delivery. This is a great achievement by the team and validates the best practice that were already in place.”
Stuart McKean, CEO of Nine23 comments:
“Nine23 is all about the end user being able to use technology and this certification is all about how we ensure we deliver a fantastic service to go along with our enablement of the end user. Our service is key for us and by completing this ISO standard it has demonstrated our commitment to not just saying we support the end user, but we are willing to go much further and put the process in place to support the end user. A great job by Julie Gordon in getting Nine23 to this standard.”
