At Nine23 we pride ourselves on providing a professional IT Managed service backed up by ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 accreditation.
So what is ISO/IEC 20000?
ISO/IEC 20000 is the only internationally recognised compliance standard for IT Service Management. Certification of ISO/IEC 20000 is available for organisations (unlike ITIL which is awarded to individuals).
How do you get ISO/IEC 20000 certificate?
Certification of ISO/IEC 20000 is obtained by passing a robust independently assessed audit whereby the organisation must show that they are familiar with the processes and principles of the standard, provide evidence that the standard’s processes are adhered to, and produce all of the relevant documentation that ISO/IEC 20000 expects. The external audit is completed annually with the addition of internal audits – just to keep everyone on their toes!
How does that affect the quality of the service?
ISO/IEC 20000 provides a framework for best practice in all areas of Service Management. This includes proactive service management which in turn reduces incidents & business outages. Provides a clearer understanding of the cost of IT and plan for future costs. ISO/IEC 20000 also focuses on customer satisfaction and continual service improvement, which looks at how things work/function and how they can be improved going forward. It also cultivates a culture of review and change – with the rapidly evolving world of technology, continual improvement helps providing the customer with the right up to date solutions.
ISO/IEC 20000 certification is notoriously difficult to achieve and is a clear indicator of the quality of service you would receive, so if you are looking for a professional IT Managed Service, with a UK based Service Desk and all support staff at NPPV3 and SC cleared, please contact us today.
